Objective
The object of this Local shall be to carry out the will of the membership and to secure for its members all benefits
and salary consistent with police work. By developing relationships and friendships, the organization will become even
stronger.
Our Mission
Our mission is to further promote the interests of our organization to the community. We strive to make a difference
by educating the public and expanding our reach through professionalism, courtesy, and goodwill.
Our goals are to obtain and promote a beneficial and harmonious workplace environment, to fairly and zealously represent
each member in their employment with the Bridgeport Police Department and to promote the organization's standing
in the community through civic and charitable activities.
The membership is represented in its endeavors by a
democratically elected executive board consisting of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer and six Executive
Board Members.
